Q: Does SMD accept private insurance or Medicare?

SMD feels deeply saddened by the increase in rental (co-pay) rates that are afflicted to the retail customer for medical devices. You are required to pay these outrageous prices at an alarming rate over a period of time, while you still do not own the product. There is also a regulatory problem when you DO NOT have a choice to what provider you can use to provide your prescribed medical device. A: If it is required by law the answer is yes. In this case, you are agreeing to the sole responsibility to make sure that you do have a prescription for the order and that you do have the prescription in hand prior to shipment of the product to you.
